Classes focus on creating organic strength, mobility, and ‘bulletproofing' joints all through a combination of proper movement patterns, bodyweight training and strength progressions. Move Strong classes are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. I am a firm believer that fitness is about more than looking good….The way you look should be a reflection of how well you move and how good you feel! Come move with us!!!
We have created environments for ourselves that while comfortable, have in many ways cost us our mobility. One of the main areas of focus in the Move Strong method is to create mobile bodies that allow you the freedom to move in the way humans were designed to move.
Move Strong classes use a combination of modalities and strength training principles including body weight training as well as various other tools to challenge both organic and linear strength in order to create strong and resilient joints and bodies.
They say we not stop playing because we get old, but rather we get old because we stop playing. Move Strong classes explore the various elements of human movement through both purposeful movement and play in order to explore and develop various elements of our physicality.
